Dr Faramarz Pakravan participated as a speaker at the 13th International Colorectal Congress (Pelvic Floor and Continence Disorders) at Shiraz University, Iran, from 1 to 3 June 2022.
In his special lecture, he discusses obstructed defecation syndrome with accompanying constipation (ODS): aetiology, examination, duration of conservative treatment and the point at which surgical treatment is decided upon.
International Coloproctology Congress (online-only event)
On 5 February 2022, Dr Pakravan hosted his 1st International Coloproctology Congress, held exclusively online due to the ongoing pandemic situation.

Congress of the German Continence Society
On 6 November 2021, at the 32nd Congress of the German Continence Society, Dr Pakravan presented his latest findings on the surgical treatment of faecal incontinence, "Ventral Pelvioanal Reconstruction (VPAR)".
International Webinar Congresses in Iran
Dr Pakravan took part in two international webinar congresses in Iran: on the treatment of faecal incontinence through sacral nerve stimulation, and on diseases induced by human papillomavirus (HPV) in anal intraepithelial neoplasia.
