Privacy Policy

Below we inform you about the processing of your personal data in connection with the use of our online offering.

Controller

You can find the name and contact details of the controller in our Legal Notice.

Contact Person

If you have any questions about data protection, please contact us using the details provided in the Legal Notice.

Storage Period

As a general rule, we delete your personal data once it is no longer required for the purposes for which it was collected or otherwise processed.

If we asked for your consent and you granted it, we will delete your personal data if you withdraw your consent and there is no other legal basis for the processing.

We will delete your personal data if you object to the processing and there are no overriding legitimate grounds for the processing, or if you object to processing for the purposes of direct marketing or related profiling.

Where deletion is not possible because processing is still required to fulfil a legal obligation to which we are subject (statutory retention periods, etc.), or to assert, exercise or defend legal claims, we will restrict the processing of your personal data instead.

Further information on storage periods can also be found in the sections below.

Your Rights

You have the following rights with respect to us regarding your personal data:

  • Right to access
  • Right to rectification
  • Right to erasure
  • Right to restriction of processing
  • Right to object to processing
  • Right to data portability

You have the right, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to object at any time to the processing of your personal data based on Article 6(1)(e) or (f) GDPR; this also applies to profiling based on these provisions. We will then no longer process your personal data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing that override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves to assert, exercise or defend legal claims.

If we process your personal data for the purposes of direct marketing, you have the right to object at any time to the processing of your personal data for such marketing purposes; this also applies to profiling to the extent that it is related to such direct marketing. We will then no longer process your personal data for these purposes.

You have the right to withdraw any consent you have given us for the processing of your personal data at any time. Withdrawing your consent does not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out on the basis of that consent before its withdrawal.

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority regarding our processing of your personal data.

Provision of Your Personal Data

As a general rule, the provision of your personal data is neither legally nor contractually required, nor is it necessary for entering into a contract. You are generally not obliged to provide your personal data. Should this nevertheless be the case in a particular instance, we will point this out separately when collecting your personal data (for example, by marking mandatory fields on input forms).

If you do not provide your personal data, this generally means that we cannot process it for one of the purposes described below and that you will not be able to make use of the corresponding offering (example: without providing your email address, you will not receive our newsletter).

Contacting Us

If you contact us, we process your personal data in order to handle your inquiry.

If we asked for your consent and you provided it, the legal basis for the processing is Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. If we did not ask for your consent, the legal basis for the processing is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. In this case, our legitimate interest lies in handling your inquiry. If the processing is necessary for the performance of a contract with you or to carry out pre-contractual measures taken at your request, the legal basis for the processing is additionally Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

To support the handling of your inquiry, we use support systems (appointment booking systems, live chats, ticketing systems or helpdesks, etc.) and rely on external services for this purpose. These services may have access to personal data that is processed when you contact us via a support system.
